The experience we all need more of is love. In order to move more deeply into an atmosphere of love, we must identify less with the body and more with our love-related emotions. These are the feelings that speak to us of what has always been within us but what our shabby self-image has not allowed us to see. … Gerald G. Jampolsky M.D.

Many of us have given our power, money, and minds to people whom we believe can tell us how to live. And many teachers have given us good advice. But advice is useful only if it resonates deep within us in a place that feels like home. So we are always exactly what we are meant to be. That seeming wrong may be the exact thing we need to fulfill our destiny. Not that we aren’t meant to amount to anything, but that we can’t help but amount to everything we are meant to be. Plan it or not, we leave out footprint on this planet in some way, somehow. For……?
The one great truth I gleaned from all this was…the Darlene of my fantasy was/IS imaginary! That all of our thoughts about ourselves – The Good, The Bad, the Ugly – are all imaginary. We make ourselves up as we go along. We make our lives up so make ‘em up Good!
